Not really a problem, just a question.
I'm getting fibreglass internet soon and I was wondering if my current internetcable (pretty old one) affects the internet speed. Can I reach more kb's / sec if I buy a better cable?

Nope mate.
As long as the cable doesn't have any breaks in it, it'll be fine.
These expensive ethernet cables only make a difference in big companies where you have a internet network spread accross a large building.
